The Designer’s Story
Hi, I’m Melissa, and making your doormat wishes come true is what I love to do!
How it all started:
While shopping for a housewarming gift back in 2021, I came across some interesting doormats in big box stores, but didn't really like the quality or the options I found. It just felt like they could be so much better. So, through trial and error, I taught myself to make them from scratch, hand-painting them to perfection, and customising them to fit the different personalities carried by my friends and family.
I started offering a few of these doormats for sale and people absolutely loved them! Since then, this became my full-time business and I have never looked back. To assist with the ever-growing demand, I brought on high-quality production partners in the US who are able to complete deliveries quickly and efficiently.
As a testament to our high quality and workmanship, to-date we have sold over 5,000 doormats and continue to come up with new fun designs every week.

How long does it take?
During high volume seasons your order can take up to 8 days to be processed, prior to shipping. Please email us to discuss rush delivery at: hi@willowandnest.com
How do I clean my doormat?
Shake gently or vacuum. To keep your doormat looking vibrant and fresh we always recommend keeping it under a covered porch, away from the direct elements.
Can I return my personalized doormat?
Since every mat is custom-made, we don’t accept returns. But if there’s a problem with your order, contact us; we’ll make it right.
Do you offer washable doormats or all-weather doormats?
Not at this time. Our mats are designed to be outdoor-friendly, but they should be placed under a covered porch to protect the artwork and keep it looking fresh for years. Water will cause the mat to darken and reduce its lifespan.
